Cheesy Onion Soup
Paborito ko ang mushroom soup, nagbibigay ito ng kakaibang kiliti sa aking dila. Mahilig din akong magpapak ng cheese sa ref namin. Gusto ko rin ang Onion Rings, may kakaibang saya ang hatid nya sa aking pakiramdam. Kaya naman ng matikman ko ang soup na ito, minahal ko na sya agad. Sarap humigop ng ganitong soup pag-umuulan o kahit ndi umuulan. (^^,) Bakit hindi nyo subukan, baka maibigan nyo rin.

- 2 tbsp oil
- 2 cups onions, sliced
- 1/3 cup garlic cloves, peeled
- 2 pc bay leaf
- 2 1/2 tsp Maggi Magic Sarap
- 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1 1/2 11g pack Maggi Magic Sabaw, chicken (dissolved in 1L of water to make chicken broth)
- 1 tbsp garlic, minced
- 1 tsp fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 tsp fresh basil, chopped
- 1/2 cup nestle thick cream
- 2 cups day-old french bread, diced
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 tbsp parsley, finely chopped
- toasted french bread, cut into cubes
- Maggi Magic Sarap,to taste
- freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Procedure:
- Heat oil in a soup pot and add in onions, garlic cloves and bay leaves.
- Season with maggi magic sarap and freshly ground black pepper.
- Saute until onios are caramelized.
- Add in chicken broth, garlic, thyme and basil. Stir to mix well.
- Bring to boil then reduce to simmer. Cook for about 40 minutes.
- Turn the heat up and add in bread and cream.
- Whisk the misture until bread dissolves, about 10 minutes.
- Puree the soup until smooth using blender.
- Whisk in parmesan cheese and parsley.
- Season with maggi magic sarap and freshly grond black pepper to taste.
- Serve hot.
