There are countless examples of these pet nurturing games around, but younger gamers will certainly be enchanted by this cute new take on the type. Playing the part of a pet shop owner involves more fun tasks than you might initially think. The progression of a monster’s life pretty much goes as follows: you obtain an egg (either by buying them in or getting your monsters to lay them), incubate the egg, hatch them by tapping them, build a relevant habitat in the shop (be it vegetation, aquatic or dirt based) and only then do you start to look after and grow your monster. You do this by feeding it, cleaning its habitat, petting it, buying it gifts and so on. Once grown, the monster is sold on to a customer who will have either made a specific order or just popped in and chosen one. Even when the monster is sold you can still visit it.
